Cookie Notice

Current position

KILLFEED currently uses only storage necessary to provide, secure and remember the service. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site profiling or optional analytics cookies. Because the listed storage is necessary, it is not switched by a consent banner; this notice provides transparency.

Authentication

Supabase session cookies keep signed-in users authenticated and protect account functions. Their duration follows the active authentication session and security refresh process.

Device preferences

• kf-sound: remembers whether feed sound is on.
• kf-cookie-notice: remembers that this notice was dismissed.
• Short-lived interface state may be held in browser memory while a page is open.

Abuse prevention

Cloudflare Turnstile runs on sensitive public forms and uploads. It can process IP address, browser/user-agent and technical connection signals to distinguish humans from abuse. We do not use those signals for advertising.

Future changes

If optional analytics, marketing or other non-essential storage is introduced, it will remain off until a valid choice is collected where law requires. Browser settings can delete existing storage, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or secure forms.
